KENDRA MAGICAL WATERBABY
THIS WAS MY FIRST ATTEMPT AT ART QUILTS.  I AM A TRADITIONALIST THROUGH AND THROUGH, BUT, THANKS TO THE WONDERFUL WISDOM OF ELIZABETH DILLINGER I WAS ABLE TO TRANSFORM A PHOTOGRAPH OF MY GRANDDAUGHTER INTO AN AMAZING QUILT

LUCY
Here is my latest art quilt piece, a portrait of Lucy, my son's dog.  Lucy is tiny but a mighty defender of  her people.  From the vantage point on the back of a chesterfield chair she can survey the entire cottage and the front lawn right to the water' edge. No stray squirrel will go unnoticed.
Many thanks to Donna Pickering of Seraphim Glassworks and Carolyn Joor for their artistic contributions to Lucy, and a special thanks to Elizabeth Dillinger of Elizabeth Dillinger Studio and Design  for her direction and patience.
